Introduction

A quick primer: The term ‘domain’ is a generic term used to describe an area where value is collected.

Taking for example a company - The company might have the following departments: Personnel, Manufacturing, Finance, Sales. Each of those departments represent value to the company. We call these ‘Domains’.

Another example - A book publisher. For the process he will have files (assets), a build process, design information. Each of those topics are ‘Domains’

Valuring - The System

The Valuring system is built on the alphabet and represents a standardised way to define frequently used domains. It also offers pictorial representation of the domains such as the ring.

Advantages

The whole system helps a person and teams to organise, to verbalise, to notate, to store information, thus improving efficiency across domains.

The ring helps to visualise important value areas and thus supports the decision making processes.

For a person or startups who are just starting to build their business, there are a large number of activities to do. The valuring can help them to visually understand which major domains need to be focused on.

This Site

This site is focused on helping individuals and organisations in their use of the valuring.
